People Ops Generalist Support Coordinator

M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hybrid in San Francisco

Salary up to $28/ hour

Temp for 3 months - may get extended depending on workload

Works independently within established procedures. Provides administrative support to the People Operations team members in all areas of the HR function. Processes and files employee records, generates standard and ad-hoc reports, compiles statistics for various HR management reports. Coordinates various HR-related programs and events. Serves as a key point of contact for staff and supervisors across the organization.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supports the People Operations Department with complex and specialized administrative tasks, including processing of staff status changes, managing/overseeing and tracking records, generating reports, providing guidance to staff on HR policies and processes, upkeeping of exit interview responses to understand themes.

* Coordinates with Occupational Health and authorized vendors to meeting health and screening requirements, including organizing various wellness programs and events, tracking records and producing reporting.

* Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.

* Plans and supports, and may facilitate company-wide information meetings such as new hire orientation, onboarding, health and wellness programs and events, etc.

* Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.

* Maintains knowledge and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

* May conduct exit interview and perform intake for leave of absence and work accommodations.

* May assists with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers.

* Performs duties as assigned with tact, discretion and in accordance with confidentiality requirements.

* May lead special projects as assigned.

* Serves as back-up support for People Coordinators.
